| Mary Goulding will was changed the night before
she died. The person affected most by this change was Timothy

change gave him only a thousand dollars. |
|

1936, bequeath |
- $4,000.00 to my niece,
Margaret Foley, plus clothing (mink coat?) and
jewelry.
- $3,000.00 to my niece,
Mary Foley Jones.
- $1,000.00 to my
brother Denis Goulding. (in the event of his death
prior to my death, the said sum is to be given to my
niece, Catherine Goulding).
- $400.00 to my niece,
Catherine Goulding.
- $500.00 to my second
cousin, Dolly Fitzgerald, daughter of my first cousin,
Catherine Fitzgerald.
- The income from $500.00
in trust to my niece, Catherine (Foley) McCartney, in
semi-annually payments for the rest of her life.
- $500.00 to my nephew,
Timothy Goulding.

and my nephew, Timothy Goulding, the proceeds of my

day of February 1938. Item 7 was change to $1,000.00 and item 13

|
| Now, all I had to do was connect the thirty-seven
to the twelve. As of today, I have connected thirty-five to nine
siblings of Mary. One, Nora Morley, was a siblings and Dolly
Fitzgerald, a second cousin. |
|
| The thirty-five are related to Mary by the
following relationship . . . . . |
- Nicholas
Goulding,
Jane Hickey and Mary Linehan are
Cornelius Goulding
children.
- Margaret Foley, Mary
Foley Jones and Catherine McCartney are Kate Goulding
Foley children.
- Hannah Kellner, Edward
and Michael Hannigan are Margaret Goulding Hannigan
(Miller) children.
- Margaret Johnson,
Helen Rushforth, Vincent, Hannah, William and
Catherine Nolan are grandchildren of Margaret
Goulding Hannigan (Miller).
- Nora Kruska, Mary
Whelan, Anna Champeau and Margaret OBrien, are
Hannah Golden Murphy children.
- Michael, Andrew,
Catherine and Timothy Goulding are
Denis Goulding
children.
- Helen Flynn, Michael
Golden and Mary Nolan are
Timothy Goulding children.
- Cornelius Herlihy,
Francis Herlihy, Thomas Herlihy and Irene Kandl are
Julia Goulding Herlihy children.
- Mary McLaval and
Thomas Patrick Herlihy are Ellie Goulding Herlihy
children.
- Nora Morley is
Honora Goulding, Mary sister.
- Dolly Fitzgerald is
the daughter of (Gilbert?) and Catherine Fitzgerald.
|
| Dolly Fitzgerald, the thirty-seventh
has not been connected because she is the daughter of Catherine Fitzgerald.
A cousin and not a sibling to Mary Goulding.
Catherine could be either a
GOULDING or a NOLAN. |
|
| I read the trial transcript. There appeared to
have been some shenanigan going on between Mary Goulding lawyer
and the two Foley sisters. The sisters ended up most of the
estate value back then at $75,000.00. (Which would be about One
Million US Dollars today.) My grandmother, Mary Herlihy, as Mary McLaval, got $65.00 as did most of the relatives. Somehow, the
Foley sisters convince the court that Nora Morley was another
niece of Mary. Nora apparently had nothing that prove she was
also a daughter of Michael and Mary Nolan Goulding. |
